Using the Right Tools to Automate Your Business
It takes a lot of individual software, programs, and tools to manage a growing business like a well oiled machine. And if you were ever wondering about my go to tools as an ecommerce business and graphic designer, you’re in the right place!
Automate Your Email Marketing with FloDesk
The first program that I use to manage my online business is FloDesk, which is a drag and drop email marketing software. I absolutely love FloDesk because I can quickly curate emails that match my brand without any coding.
Email marketing is incredibly important for any online business to have a functioning sales funnel, or in the case of an ecommerce business like mine, having a post purchase campaign to keep my customers engaged and provide more value.
It was important to me to find a platform that was easy to use but also super customizable, which I believe I found in FloDesk.
Organize Your Projects with Milanote
Next, I’ve found myself leaning a lot on Milanote, which is a project management tool.
You can use Milanote in an infinite amount of ways, but the way I use it is to keep all of my research, moodboards, and to-do lists for my custom client projects and upcoming product launches all in one place.
Before I discovered Milanote, I would keep all my notes on scrap pieces of paper that I’d have to hunt down when I needed it, but this tool has definitely helped me to streamline my project management process.
Showcase Your Business with Showit
Another one of my favorite tools I use in my business is Showit. I hold a lot of value in a business’s websites and needed a platform I could confidently host my website on, while also giving me a lot of creative freedom to design my website exactly how I envisioned it to be, which is exactly what I get with Showit since all you need to do is drag and drop.
This is perfect for someone like me who likes to have control over the creative direction of my business, which you just can’t get sometimes with pre-made website templates. And, it’s also more affordable than hiring a web developer to customize a site from scratch, which is a bonus.
Automate Your Business Tasks with Copy.ai
A newer tool that I’ve come to love is Copy.ai, which is an AI tool that generates written copy based on how you prompt it.
I utilize this tool to generate headlines for my blog posts, video titles, and sometimes I’ll use it to get more keyword rich hashtag ideas. The abilities of AI are so intricate and go beyond what I personally ever thought was possible, so it’s an exciting time to get into it.
Plus, it helps to shave a little bit of time off my already busy schedule by completing small, mundane tasks, which as a business owner, makes a world of difference.
Boost Your Marketing with Outgrow
And lastly, a tool that I love to use for my business is Outgrow. I create my surveys, quizzes, and calculators utilizing Outgrow, and it’s honestly just been fun developing unique tools for my audience that don’t exist out there yet.
For example, I’ve created a few planner shop based calculators like a Profit Potential Calculator or my Etsy Start Up Calculator. These are the types of tools I wish that I had when I first started, so it’s just really cool to be able to provide those for other people.
